FSVP Online Training Course


1. Overview: As part of the FSMA requirements (Food Safety Modernization Acts, 2011), all food importers must implement a FSVP (Foreign Supplier Verification Program) to verify that their foreign suppliers are producing food at the same level of public health protection as that of the preventive controls or produce safety regulations. This FSVP training course will issue a FSVP certificate for food importers which will be a part of QI. The instructor for this FSVP training course has deep understanding of FDA FSVP inspection procedures. He is currently consulting numerous food importers for implementing FSVP and will share past experiences and insights for FSVP inspections and real world case-studies during the seminar.

  • Understand how to analyze and evaluate known or foreseeable hazards

  • Learn and practice creating a foreign supplier verification program

  • Review the process of conducting corrective actions

  • Meet requirements for the Foreign Supplier Verification Programs (FSVP) for Importers of Food for Humans rule under the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA)
